Can You Guess the Brand Behind this Electric Vehicle Design?

How do I unwind? Glad you asked. Well, there is nothing more relaxing than thumbing through recently issued automotive design patents. Sure, 85% of them are boring sedan fender panels or mirrors, but there is that 15% that are really cool and are often the first time a design is revealed to the public (see this post, this post, and this post). I just came across one that falls within the 15% category, minus the cool-factor.

So, think you will ever see one of these beauties cruising around your neighborhood? Take a guess which company was awarded a patent on this design (and let me know in the comments).

Forget about trying to guess the designer… can you even identify which end is the front? Well, this drawing provides the answer to this question.

As a car guy, I sure hope this does not reflect the future of automotive design (or if it is, hopefully this is the equivalent of a mini-van).
